Bethany
After spending a decade working in award-winning salons in Baltimore, Bethany opened Laboratorie in November of 2010 with the goal of redefining the salon experience for both the stylist and the client. Her vision is a creative, supportive workplace that allows stylists to pursue their wildest hairdresser dreams and in turn, provide Baltimore with a team of passionate professionals that are always at the top of their game. She believes that education is paramount and provides her team with frequent opportunities for education to encourage their individual growth and inspiration, as well as continually refining her own skills under industry elite across the country. With a lifelong background in art, Bethany is passionate about color, composition and creativity. She enjoys utilizing her extensive knowledge of color theory to solve even the most perplexing color challenges and loves incorporating unexpected, quirky details in otherwise classic shapes, creating strong looks that are as individual as the wearer. When not behind the chair, Bethany splits her time between developing new ideas for the salon, relaxing with her husband and son, and is always plotting her next beach escape.
