Calysta joined the team at Laboratorie in November of 2023 bringing ten years of experience behind the chair. She has a passion for haircutting + enjoys cutting a range of shapes from precision cuts and short hair grooming to modern shags + soft, long layers. Calysta is also a skilled colorist specializing in all types of lived in color such as foilyage and balayage to create modern, on-trend color that is crafted to embrace the individuality of each of her clients.
She has worked in top salons in the Annapolis area before bringing her talents to Baltimore where she looks to continue to advance her technical + artistic approach to hairdressing. Always up for continuing education, Calysta has taken many local and regional classes throughout her career ranging from precision cutting, modern shags and specialized classes focused on cutting curly textures.
Calysta is an Advanced Stylist and is available by appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, + Saturdays.
